Red Herring Art Supply
He visited Fort Worth during their floods. So after braving the rain to check out Ansel Art Supply, he headed over to the Amon Carter Museum to see the Peaceable Kingdom by Edward Hicks, and finished the day at Joe T. Garcia's.
Over the summer, Al spent time at our booths at FARMCAD, GermanFest, 40 West Holiday Market, and First Friday Arts Walks. He met German dancers and dragons!
Being a helpful little fish, Al took colored pencils to the Jeffco Action Center's back to school supply drive. During MuralFest 2016 he helped Birdcap paint his mural!
Al Herring's first year was busy! You can follow his adventures on Facebook as they happen. Here's the highlights of 2016.
Al also worked hard. He took over online sales, and spent weekends at the shop.
Al visited Scotland, Ireland, and England with Aunt Lori. He stayed up very late to see the results of the Brexit vote, had his photo taken with Disraeli, and made friends at Flowerworks Uxbridge.
Closer to home, Al stopped by Domo, the Denver Art Museum, and went to his first baseball game.
Al's favorite pastime remains reading about art. He discovered he liked coloring with markers this year. He started to explore Sumi-e and has grown rather fond of his new piston water brush.
